Founded in 1979 in Rohilla Street, VPO Chiri, District Rohtak, Haryana, Dawi Foods began as a small initiative by Shri Dalip Rohilla. What started with just 25 kg of homemade mango pickle, shared within the local community, soon became a household favorite. Encouraged by overwhelming demand, production gradually increased—first 50 kg, then 100 kg, 500 kg, and today, we proudly supply over 25,000 kg per year.
Our humble beginnings saw Shri Dalip Rohilla delivering pickles door-to-door, carrying them in boxes with both hands. The entire village embraced the flavors, leading to a growing customer base. As demand soared, his son, Shri Dharmbir Rohilla, stepped in to expand the business further. Initially making deliveries by cycle, he later switched to TVS Panther, allowing us to serve not just one but 10 villages in no time. The business continued to grow steadily, earning the trust of families who sought authentic, homemade flavors in every meal.
Previously known as Dharmbir Achar Wala, our brand has evolved to Dawi Foods (Dharmbir Achar Wala India 🇮🇳 Foods), embracing modernity while staying true to our roots.
